Description: This is a very nice coffee. Mavericks most requested smooth roast. Slow roasted to a nice smooth finish with a subtle sweetness and a hint of earthiness. Mavericks selected the Peru for its natural mild and gentle flavor. The aroma is only rivaled by the Kenya AA. This is Mavericks best selling light roasted coffee.

Cupping Notes: Smooth-bodied, mild acidity, with lots of caffeine. Very smooth and pleasing to the palate. Soft and crisp, warm aroma. 

 

Slow Roasting

Since 2004, we have been slow roasting the coffee at higher temperatures for a much longer duration. This yields a much more natural tasting coffee with out the bright bitter taste and high acidity levels that negatively affect people's health. Plus, it involves no pretreatments, additives, or complicated processes. All Mavericks Coffees are certified USDA Organic in compliance with the National Organic Program. We are also 3rd party inspected by CCOF for program compliance and traceability. You can see Organic certificate here.

Low Acid
